YAY! All the birthdays are over. We had my daughters 3rd birthday yesterday, and all went well. The cake turned out AWESOME! When you ask what her favourite part of the birthday party was she says, "MY PRINCESS CAKE"! That makes staying up until 4am decorating totally worth it. It was so good that I had to have TWO pieces :OP

Here's a few pics.

Wow! That cake looks awesome. Do you mind if I ask.....do you buy molds and patterns to make them and where do you buy them.

You're such a good mommy!

Thanks guys! To answer your question, I did buy a special pan to make the dolls dress. It's called the "Wondermold" by Wilton. As far as designs though, I just kinda fly by the seat of my pants LOL! I don't pre-plan, I kinda do it as I go along. And don't worry cdndyme, there will be many more cakes to be seen on my blog, I start a cake decorating course tomorrow. Now, if I can just keep my fingers out of the icing ;o)

Wow Shaunna, those are just great pics. Jade's face says it all on that pic that she's next to the cake. She's just thrilled.
You my friend look amazing as always, i love the one that you're bringing in the cake.
You are my inspiration as a mom. You are so devoted and patient, always have.

Tomorrow already your class starts ? Woot woot.

If those few cakes you made represent your "beginner" versions... I can't begin to imagine what it will be down the road. WOW.

Much love

Dear Shrunk,
I just found your blog and am frantically catching up on all the posts and pictures. What an amazing example you are - congrats on your success! I have a question for you.. I am doing WW as well and am now in the category of eating 18-23 points per day but it is so hard for me to keep my points under 23 unless I exercise every day. I usually end up eating most of those points, but is that what I should be doing? Do you eat your activity points or save them?? Thanks and best wishes :)
Tamara

Now that summer is coming we have to get together....Carson went through a phase there where he didn't mention Chad for a while and now he does at least once/day!

Hey Tamara! I eat every single activity and flex point available to me. You must be doing the old plan if you have a range for your daily points? If you need help figuring out your points on the new program please email me at ludicy@hotmail.com

Hi, thanks so much for your response! I am on some kind of outdated plan apparently (have just started WW again after 5 years) and am doing it myself this time. I'm working abroad now and don't have the resources available that I would if I were home :( Hence the confusion and recent net-surfing to find some sort of WW community online. I will email you now with details, and again I really appreciate your willingness to help - how incredibly nice of you :)))

A friend of mine passed on your blog and I have to say you are inspirational, not to mention your style rawks!

5 years ago, I was about 40 pounds overweight. I took baby steps by walking every night after dinner and eventually I was running. My crowning cap was finishing the Sun Run in 1 hr, 9 mins. I've managed to keep the weight off and the self esteem positive. So don't worry about a couple of pieces of cake. It's cumulative eating that gets you. Look forward to reading more!

Wow!!!! I was in tears to read your blog and look @ your pics. I admire your dedication. I am going through some unsavory changes in my body being in my mid 30s now and I am very unhappy with my appearance. Kids and life have rounded me out in ways I can't begin to describe hahaha and you have done a great job of getting yourself fit which is inspiring.
I will bookmark your blog for motivation and tips.
Well done and best of luck with all you do in the future.

WOW! I can't decide what I am in awe of more, your amazing weight loss or the incredible cakes you make! (and can I just say how funny it is to me that I've found inspiration for both of those things on the same site!) HA!

Thanks so much for sharing!

I stumbled across your blog last week and like so many have been enjoying catching up on your journey. I wonder if you'd mind sharing your exercise routine, both when you started, as well as how you've progressed.

I'm curious to know how you maintained such a high AP amount every week. Makes me wonder if I'm under assigning AP points to myself.

Anyway, thank you SO much for your site. You really are phenomenal!
