This is what I do in my spare time ;o)

A field trip to the Beaver Dam with my son's Kindergarten class. And yes, Jade's wearing a boys jacket...can't argue with a 3 yr old :O)

Wow...I just came across your blog. You look great, and a great role model for someone like me who is trying to lose weight.

That looks like fun! It's been so long since I've been on a hike through the woods...I miss it.

Fantastic! You look so happy, healthy, and fun. You are a great role model for your kids.

Your blog is one of the first ones I started reading on my journey. When I saw what you accomplished with commitment and hard work, I believed for the first time in my life that I could do it too. You continue to be an inspiration to me - and so many others.

I am on the 3rd week of a beginning running program. I see from the early posts on your blog that you were already running when you started it, when you were in the beginning of your journey. I still have 75 pounds to lose, and would love any advice you could offer for running at my size (215 pounds). Had you been a runner before and just took it back up after you started WW? Or did you start as part of exercising to lose weight?

I started out running 1 min/walking 2 and repeating that 10 times. I did that for 2 weeks and it got very easy so I moved on to 2 min running/1 min walking x 10 for only 2 days (like the program says) and then tried to do the 3/1 x 7 on Wednesday and almost freaking died. This is the first time I've been sore - everything hurts. I am supposed to do 4/1 x 6 tonight and Saturday, but I KNOW that's too much too fast for me. I'm going back to 2/1 for tonight and Saturday with hopes of moving to 3/1's next week. I think I just have to do what's right for me. I'm not scheduled to run a race or anything, so it's not like I have to hurry through it.

Do you have any thoughts/advice on this?

Thanks! Love your blog!

they are so adorable! and you know what else I was thinking? can you imagine how hard this would have been for you a couple of years ago? carrying one and trying to keep up with the rest of the kids? Its such a powerful message when you realize that you don't have to worry about missing out on the important things with your kids cause of your size anymore, truly inspiring to see, not that I expect any less from my hero :0)
