I just got back from a little holiday. I took the kiddo's to visit my family. I love going to their place. All the meals and snacks are point friendly, and they entertain my kids so that I can go for runs in the hills behind their house. I hit the trails with their boxer dog. I actually outran the poor thing! The dog turned around and ditched me in the hills to head back home after about 5-6k. I had to chase her down to get her leash back on! She was at the bottom of the hill laying in a puddle on the street and drinking out of it. When we got back to the house, she laid in the kiddie pool panting LOL! She's just lucky that she's cute ;o)

Anyways...I'm home now, and back to my cakin'. Tonight, I started the Wilton Gumpaste Flowers course, which was SO much fun! We learned apple blossoms, daisy's, and cala lillies. These were made out of fondant, and were a little bit rushed. I know that I could have done them better, but there was just so much to do this class! I'll make a cake later this week to decorate with my newly learned flower makin' skillz. Then I'll be able to take my time. Just thought that I'd share a pic anyways :OP

God, girl, first I love your hair, then your cakes and now your dog! :) I swear I'm not stalking you. I had three boxers.....a brindle and two fawn. They were all super drooly, farty, wiggle butts!! I miss them terribly, but with my work schedule and a divorce we had to get rid of them. They are now living awesome lives with families that have lots of time and energy for them. My boy and I are talking about getting a new dog here in the next few months if I get transferred to another shift at work. I'm still partial to a Boxer, but I think they might have to wait til I retire and can give them my upmost attn so they will act like an angel instead of the crazy asses I had. :) Your dog is too cute.

BTW...you're cakes has me thinking about taking a cake decorating class at the local Comm. College. I dont even really like cake or have a reason to make them, but I think they are awesome!!
